Research snapshot on school closings released



Initial findings on how decision-making in Chicago Public Schools is impacting parents from closed schools.

A policy snapshot, based on a subset of 20 interviews with  parents and caregivers from schools closed in May 2014, reports preliminary findings on parents’ perspectives on decision-making in Chicago Public Schools.  This work is part of CEJE’s current research project, Chicago School Closings:  Experiences of Families, Students and Communities; please see the Research page for more information.  To download the research snapshot, please see Publications.
