Research snapshot on parent involvement released



Initial findings on impact of Chicago Public Schools closures on parent involvement.

A research snapshot, based on a subset of 20 interviews with parents and caregivers from schools closed in May 2013, reports preliminary findings on the effect of school closings on parent participation.  This work is part of CEJE’s current research project, Chicago School Closings:  Experiences of Families, Students and Communities; please see the Research page for more information.  To download the research snapshot, please see Publications.
